Senior Photo Shoot at NJ Botanical Garden in Ringwood NJ | Bergen County Photographer
NJ Botanical Gardens in Ringwoood NJ in August is such a hidden gem - it’s a quick drive from Bergen County NJ and is full of flowers and peaceful while people are still on vacation with vast property with so many interesting spots. It’s my favorite time of the year to do a photo session there, and I was thrilled when Abby’s mom reached out for her senior photo shoot.
When it comes to planning your child’s senior session, make sure to schedule it during the summer, or when there are no packed activities which can cause lots of stress!
Here at this location. flowers are abundant starting May, June through even mid-October. So if you want lots of colors, this is good time to do your session.
I always say, seniors should come up with a few, different sets of outfit in their style. Here, Abby went just with one, her favorite outfit she wore to Govenors Ball this year, the ultimate music festival held every summer in NYC. The color choice complimented the greenery so well!
There was a wedding ceremony that had just ended in this garden, so we used the white chairs as props : )
This location was special for her because her brother did his senior session here two years ago. You can see Abby in some phtos, and how Abby looked so little then!
Of course we end with simple portraits in golden light. I am thrilled that Abby and the parents all loved these images and have these as keepsake from 2025. I highly recommend capturing a very special year of your senior in photos.
